Dry method of installing underfloor heating UNIVENTA® INTEGRA is designed for low floor height design and to reduce overall weight load. It is an ideal replacement of concrete and anhydrite screeds. Wet methods are not suitable for wooden floors, as the mass of concrete screed is about 130 kg /m2.This represents a masive weight of 2.6 tonnes per 20 m2. Flooring System UNIVENTA® INTEGRA has weight of 38.25 kg /m2 and the total structural height of 55 mm.
Dry floor heating is used primarily in renovations and wherever a flexible thermal response is needed – ie, less thermal inertia, shorter start up time and therefore more flexible control of room temperature. The floor surface will reach 23°C within 30 minutes of start up. Compared to traditional 110 minutes when using “wet” screed. This results in significant energy savings and better reaction to change of room temperature.
